The QS2 workstation is an evolution of our awarding winning QS. It brings a whole host of new features including PCI Express 2.0 expansion slots, higher performance memory and support for both 1.33GHz and 1.6GHz front side Intel processors. With the introduction of Intel's new 45nm processors the QS2 now offers not only increased performance but also a significant reduction in power consumption. The QS2 is now fitted with a processor liquid cooling system as standard. The LCLC sealed liquid cooling system was co-developed by HP and Asetek and offers improved cooling, lower internal chassis temperatures and lower noise. Customer who prefer a lower cost Heat-sink fan solution may also select this in the configuration options. The Magnetar QS2 sets new standards in performance, energy efficient, Multi-Core workstations.
